The Heart is a Lonely Hunter Poster

Displaying a sensitivity and understanding of the human condition that belies her 23 years, Carson McCuller's debut novel was first published in 1940 and sought to give voice to social outcasts, the forgotten and rejected members of society. It is a great, haunting account of people’s need to connect with each other in any way they can. 

This poster features the first edition artwork which moves away from the art deco designs of the '30s and starts a new decade with a move towards mid century modern fonts and colour palates.
