Returns and Refunds
We really hope you will be happy with your purchase, but if you want to return it for any reason, here's what to do:
Damage or breakages
If an item appears to be damaged or otherwise not in a salable condition when you receive it, please contact us and we'll be happy to help - it may be that physically returning the item is unnecessary under some circumstances. If it is possible to send us a photograph of the problem to enquiries@theliterarygiftcompany.com this can be very helpful. If your parcel appears to have been damaged in transit, please also send a photograph of the packaging, including an image of the label on the parcel, as this is extremely helpful when raising issues with the carrier.
Missing items
If your order arrives with missing items, it may be that we have sent your order in more than one parcel. Personalised items are normally sent separately from non-personalised items as these are made to order. If your order has been placed with priority shipping, we may split your order into more than one delivery to get it to you more quickly. The 'view and track your order' link in your order confirmation email will normally show whether your order has been dispatched in one or more parcels.
If your order appears to have been sent in a single parcel, but items are missing, please contact us and we'll be happy to help. Please let us know whether there is any sign that your parcel may have been damaged in transit, and if possible please also send a photograph of the packaging to enquiries@theliterarygiftcompany.com, including an image of the label on the parcel, as this is extremely helpful when raising issues with the carrier. Please retain the packaging until we have resolved your issue.
Exchanges
Any return should be in its original packaging within 30 days of receipt and provided items are in perfect condition we will be happy to exchange for something else. Please send it to Exchanges Department, The Literary Gift Company, Atlantis House, 122 Castle Street, Reading, RG1 7RJ and include a note mentioning your order number and what you would like in exchange (a different size of t-shirt, for example). Personalised items which are not faulty in any way cannot be returned.
Refunds
You have the right to cancel your order within this period and can do so by emailing us at enquiries@theliterarygiftcompany.com. Please send to Returns Department, The Literary Gift Company, Atlantis House, 122 Castle Street, Reading, RG1 7RJ. Personalised items which are not faulty in any way cannot be returned. Any refund will be made back to the original source of payment; this will be done as soon as possible after request. The above policy is in addition to your legal rights as a customer.
