A set of playing cards featuring Shakespeare's most famous characters and themed suits: hearts = lovers, clubs = fools, diamonds = heroes and heroines, and spades = villains. Featuring Romeo and Juliet as King and Queen of Hearts, Lady Macbeth as Ace Villain, this deck of 54 cards (including two jokers) is made up of Shakespeare's best-known dramatis personae. Adam Simpson's artwork bring Shakespeare's plays to life and this illustrated deck also includes a booklet with text about each character and their place in literary history, compiled by Leander Deeny.
