A Streetcar Named Desire Poster

The first edition jacket of this Pulitzer Prize-winning play was designed by Alvin Lustig, an American graphic designer who was honoured for his significant contributions to American design. This artwork is inspired by Matisse and Lustig's work was featured on many of Williams' plays, including A Streetcar Named Desire, which is often described as the best play of the twentieth century.
