Because To Kill a Mockingbird was Harper Lee's first novel, publishers J. B. Lippincott & Co. only ordered a print run of 5000. It became an instant classic and won the Pulitzer Prize the following year. The jacket was designed by Shirley Smith, about which almost nothing is known, but her iconic cover inspired the designs of the UK and US editions of Lee's follow up novel Go Set a Watchman, published half a century later.
There aren't many books which The Literary Gift Company believes that everyone should read, but To Kill a Mockingbird is probably one of them.
Why not add one of our brilliant hanging kits? With magnetic clasps securing the frames together, they can easily be switched from one poster to another.
