For all roles the following are essential:

  • Creativity – all staff, whatever their role, can be involved in product development and shaping the creative direction of the business.

All roles are based in our Reading Head Office.

 

1. Sales Development Role

Around 30 hours per week.

8 month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

The role includes:

  • Ordering stock
  • Managing budgets
  • Generating stock and sales reports
  • Managing relationship with our Fulfilment Centre
  • Creating and managing systems for stock management across multiple channels
  • Developing new sales channels

Essential Skills:

  • Experience with Word and Excel
  • Budget management experience
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills

 

 

2. Social Media Assistant

7-10 hours per week (possibility of flexible working during term-time only for a parent)

The role includes:

  • Listening to our fans and customers
  • Create original and engaging social content
  • Write fascinating blog posts
  • Development of our brands
  • Analyse and report on the effectiveness of campaigns in order to maximise results

Essential Skills:

  • Exemplary communication skills
  • Social media experience, ideally for an organisation

 

 

3. Admin and Customer Service Assistant

Part-time

Hours and contract length variable

The role includes:

  • Customer service (email and telephone)
  • Communicating with our suppliers
  • Creating stock reports on Excel
  • Boxing and barcoding products
  • In-house printing of mugs and other items

Essential Skills:

  • Experience with Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure during busy times

 

 

4. Admin and Customer Service Assistant

Full-time

8 month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

The role includes:

  • Customer service (email and telephone)
  • Communicating with our suppliers
  • Creating stock reports on Excel
  • Boxing and barcoding products
  • In-house printing of mugs and other items

Mostly, yes. The marketing role could be done partly at home or elsewhere but not entirely.
