Marbled Endpaper Gift Wrap - Turkish Antique

The Asian art of marbling paper reached Europe in the 17th century, and soon began to be used for the endpapers of books. 'Turkish' marbling is the simple dropping of several successive colours, but it can then be 'antiqued' with a sprinkling of fine white or pale drops.  These finely-printed matt surface sheets make luxurious gift wrap, but would also be fantastic for covering books or even lining drawers or shelves. Available as single folded sheets. Designer: Christopher Rowlatt.
