The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie Poster

The original cover art, by London-born artist Victor Reinganum, from the first edition (1961) of this remarkable novel by Muriel Spark. Described as a Surrealist artist, Reinganum often used biomorphic forms and poetic abstraction in his work. He was also art director at Elstree studios for a short time at the end of the 1920s and designed a number of Radio Times covers - including the first to mark Eurovision in 1960.
