Pearl Detail Paper Rose Brooch

Description: a large modern hand-crafted brooch reminiscent of the grandeur and intricate style of the Victorians, with the softening nougat browns of the recycled pages enriched by the shimmering central pearl. Made from the pages of unwanted books and using coiling and paper cutting a paper flower is created, with each petal attached separately. To protect it from the elements, the paper is additionally coated in a clear sealant that also makes the paper stronger and resistant to tearing. The brooch is finished on the back with a closable pin back.
