Our philosophy
To provide a unique combination of unusual, and in some cases bespoke, products from new designers, along with the best of quality brands from organisations like The Bodliean Library. We are particularly interested in promoting products which recycle, or 'upcycle' abandoned or out-of-date books.

About us
The Literary Gift Company was born out of a family book-selling business. Dani, who created The Literary Gift Company, had been searching for ideas to make unwanted, unsellable and out-of-date books useable again. Meanwhile she had been harbouring a frustration that it wasn't always easy to buy unusual gifts, especially those for fellow bookish types. The Literary Gift Company aims to solve both these problems at once!
